What Are Custom Odd Shaped Rugs?

A custom odd shaped rug is a hand-tufted floor covering cut to a non-standard, irregular contour specified by the customer — organic curves, asymmetrical silhouettes, or one-of-a-kind outlines that standard rectangular rugs cannot achieve. Each rug is individually crafted by artisans who trace a CAD-generated outline onto the backing fabric and hand-tuft the rug to that exact shape.

Customization Freedom

Send any outline — CAD files, hand sketches, photographs of the intended space, or a written description. Our artisans trace the shape onto backing fabric and tuft within the boundary. Multi-level pile heights and color gradients available. Minimum detail resolution: 12mm for lettering. Up to 16 yarn colors per rug.

What counts as an "odd shape"?

Any shape that isn't a standard rectangle, circle, or oval. Organic contours, asymmetrical outlines, shapes that follow architectural features (around columns, curved walls), or entirely freeform designs.

How do I submit a custom shape?

Send a sketch, CAD file, photo of the space, or written dimensions. Our design team converts it to a tufting template and sends a proof for approval before production.

What is the minimum order?

Single piece. Each rug is made to order.
